About Us

Susan Can Cake It LLC It is a homegrown Cottage Food Operation based in Eagle, Idaho.

​All food is prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to regulation and inspection by the regulatory authority.

The food may contain allergens.

 

Susan approaches challenges with a 'fake it til you make it' attitude.  With the help of her crew (a.k.a. family and taste testing neighbors), Susan Can Cake It has grown into an award winning operation, with a 1st place blue ribbon for her gluten-free shortbread (2024) and a 3rd place white ribbon for her Lemon Rosemary Cornmeal Cake (2025), both from the Western Idaho Fair. 

​

While Susan still makes cakes, she has expanded into cookies and other baked treats.

And while she does (clearly) enjoy playing in the kitchen, most of all

she loves meeting people and sharing in their delight over simple, delicious treats. 

  

And at the end of the day, that is what drives Susan Can Cake It.
